Who we are

What started as a storefront known for its hand-built window displays in downtown Boise has grown into a full-service planning team across the Treasure Valley. For over 20 years, we've brought weddings, corporate events, and celebrations to life throughout Boise, McCall, and Sun Valley.

We believe planning an event should feel as good as living it. Every client gets a dedicated planner backed by our entire team's expertise, so you're never relying on one person's best guess, you're getting the collective knowledge of a team that's done this hundreds of times.

From the first conversation to the last detail, your event is organized in one private planning portal, so nothing slips through the cracks, and nothing is left to one person's memory. Teresa Sandros

Owner + Planner

Teresa founded Bliss Events in 2005, blending her background in business, HR, and finance with her love for people, beauty, and out-of-the-box thinking. She knew the up-and-coming Boise market needed some strong vendors- so she started Bliss Events, a planning firm, that has been a leader in the market ever since.

“I truly love serving others. I believe in treating my clients, vendors, and staff like family, building relationships, and always going above and beyond. We take a team approach to everything and are only as strong as the sum of all our parts.”

Teresa’s favorite things:
Well, let’s just say she has never met a puppy or cupcake she didn’t love! But on a work front, Teresa can’t say enough good things about FriXon erasable pens which is a MUST HAVE when planning events.

An emergency bag (yep, like Mary Poppins!), protein shake, and back up phone battery pack.

Fun Facts:
Teresa has dual citizenship and has travelled to 13 countries, and has spent a month (or more) “living” in 5 countries.

From the Team:
Teresa is our fearless leader and visionary. She has a thirst for knowledge and “reads” countless audio books per year. She will make a friend everywhere she goes. She has an impeccable memory for names and personal details. She’s extraordinarily competitive and will try anything once (as long as it’s legal)!

Jenee Cochern

Event Planner

Jenee’s 15+ years of wedding planning experience has propelled her into the Senior Coordinator position at Bliss Events. Her background in Psychology and Business provides the perfect foundation for wedding planning- the supportive and caring individual who also isn’t afraid to go after the answers!

Applicable skills of mediation and experience with religious ceremonies, as well as her ability to perpetually smile, even while problem solving, makes her an ideal event planner and a star on our team.

Fun Facts:
Jenee is a DIY pro and a power tool expert! She loves to build and create, and we are always hearing about her newest, most exciting projects.

Erin Taylor

Event Planner

Erin joined the Bliss Events team with an educational background in communications and marketing, specializing in community and vendor relationships. From large-scale corporate gatherings and trade shows to weddings to a surprise event for a terminally-ill child (and everything in between), Erin relishes in playing a key-role in someone's "best day ever."

Each event, Erin falls in love with the unique styles and personality of each client. Whether you need organization, quick problem solving, or someone passionate about serving others – Erin is your go-to gal!

A positive attitude, a change of shoes, and a snack.

Fun Facts:
As a fanatic of books and far-off places (both real and fictional), Erin loves all things costume and Halloween. Her ability to utilize repurposed or salvaged items to skillfully craft costumes is both creative and thrifty.

Kristen Nimmo

Event Planner

Kristen Nimmo is proven in event planning, event management, and marketing, with almost 2 decades of working in an event planning firm and a successful non-profit organization.

Kristen has planned and executed a wide variety of events. From weddings to fundraisers and corporate events, Kristen comes to Bliss Events with a wealth of knowledge and a deep-rooted passion for creating memorable while leaving no detail left unchecked.

Must have items at an event?
Lip gloss, extra shoes, lots of energy, and a contagious laugh!

Fun Facts:
Kristen is super competitive and considers herself a corn hole pro.

Kimberly Conners

Event Planner

Kimberly has a love for weddings and meeting people! She owned her own Wedding Planning company for several years before moving to Idaho and joining our team. She appreciates the combination of team support while still having the autonomy to lead her clients. Whatever scenario an event throws Kimberly’s way, she faces it level-headed and will likely have an out-of-the-box solution!

Whether she’s planning a stunning wedding or a fantastic children’s birthday party, connecting with each of her clients on a personal level is her favorite part of event planning. She says, “Working with and getting to know such amazing people and their families, while making sure they enjoy every part of their special day, is such a gift.”

Fun Facts:
Kimberly is a wizard with a camera, a master at wood working, and owns every power tool in her house.

Brianna Woolsey

Manager + Planner

Brianna Woolsey is a dedicated and detail-oriented event planner with a passion for people and bringing their visions to life. With experience managing a wide range of events, from intimate gatherings to corporate functions, Brianna excels in creating memorable experiences tailored to her clients' needs.

Her ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances ensures that every event runs smoothly, regardless of any challenges that arise. Brianna’s expertise, combined with her drive for creating impactful events, makes her a standout event planner ready to bring your next event to life.
